Introducing the first ever carbon negative piece of jewellery. We have partnered with Go Carbon Neutral to more than offset the carbon emissions generated during the creation of the Crann Carbon Negative Signet Ring. For each purchase of the ring, we will plant a native deciduous tree in Ireland. Unlike many other tree planting initiatives, our trees will never be cut down. This enables a rich habitat to evolve and becomes a permanent carbon off-setter. Once you purchase, we will share information on exactly where in Ireland your tree will be planted.

The Crann Carbon Signet Negative ring is a large signet ring weighing a heavy seven grams. It is cast in eco-friendly recycled silver and is hand finished by our expert jewellers in Dublin City Centre, making each piece completely unique. The eye catching tree symbol design is hand engraved on the large circle face and the shoulders and band are carefully polished with a mirror finish to stand out and catch eyes. Like all Dána Project pieces, the Crann Carbon Negative Signet Ring is designed to be life lasting. It is heavy enough to withstand everyday wear and tear, which also gives you the feeling of luxury when worn on your finger.

Dána Project is a Demi-fine Jewellery brand. We are not a traditional goldsmith. We are hand crafting unique, fine jewellery without the traditional mark ups. We are revealing Honest Pricing, our cost information, to gain the trust of our friends and customers to continue doing what we love, creating jewellery.

Sustainable Fine Jewellery - Carbon Negative Signet Ring

Learn more about Dána Project's Demi-fine Jewellery approach.

The first ever Dána Project ring was created from used Guinness cans in a garden shed. Dána Project aims to mirror its history of recycling and continue to create fine jewellery in the most sustainable fashion possible to become a leading sustainable jewellery brand.

Eco-Friendly Material

Dána Project's jewellery is created using Eco-Friendly Sterling Silver alloy. We source 100% recycled silver and alloy the grain ourselves to make our Eco-Friendly Sterling Silver unique to Dána Project pieces. Silver mining, is a major carbon emitter and has numerous negative impacts on our environment (see our blog post for more information). We decided we no longer wanted to endorse silver mining and opted to use recycled silver for all our jewellery. It may be a drop in the ocean, but even a drop causes ripples and hopefully other jewellery companies follow suit to begin using recycled alternatives in their pieces.

Packaging

We worked hard to ensure our jewellery packaging is not only sturdy enough to withstand international shipping and beautiful in design to give a feeling of luxury, but also created to align with our core value of sustainability. See our blog post to understand why we are so proud of our jewellery packaging.

Ethical Production

Dána Project is a sustainable jewellery brand. We handcraft every piece of jewellery in Dublin City centre. Each of our goldsmiths involved in the process isn't just a part of the assembly line, but close friends of the brand who work in safe and empowering environments.

A finger can swell and contract depending on the time of day, the weather or the food you've eaten. Figuring out the correct ring size is no easy task. To make things easier we offer a free ring sizer to make sure you get the perfect fit.

Don't worry if you're not 100% confident on your ring size, we are happy to exchange rings for smaller or larger sizes at your request.

To determine your ring size:

  • Use a piece of string and wrap it around the base of your finger
  • Mark the point on the string where the end meets
  • Use a mm ruler to measure the length of the string
  • Map the mm length of the string to the chart below to find your Dána Project ring size

You should allow enough room for your knuckle and remember that different fingers on the same and opposite hand may have different sizes. Measure the specific finger on which you plan to wear your Dána Project ring. It is best to measure your finger at the end of the day when it is likely to be largest.

Please note, we cannot offer exchange or return of jewellery pieces that have been customised with initials.

Check out our size guide page for more information.

In-Stock rings typically ship within 2 working days. We handcraft each ring so please allow 3 weeks for Made-to-order rings to ship. If you have a special occasion and need it sooner please email cillian@dana-project.com and we can try our best to accommodate you.
